I’m Justin Reinert, an author, leadership coach, speaker, and talent development leader based in Chicago. My background spans more than 20 years in corporate learning, from leading learning at HSBC and Oracle to building learning functions in smaller, high-growth organizations.
I hold a master’s degree in Educating Adults from DePaul University and have earned the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) credentials.
As Founder and Principal of Performance Accelerated Learning, I provide leadership coaching and tailored talent development programs across industries. PAL is where my work with organizations comes to life.
In May 2022, I published Creating Belonging: A Practical Guide to Accelerate Belonging in Organizations and Communities. My writing has appeared in publications including TD Magazine, Training Industry, and Chief Learning Officer. My January 2025 TD Magazine cover article, The Era of Master Thinkers, explores the need for critical thinking in an AI-enabled workplace.

In December 2025, a spinal cord injury resulted in quadriplegia. That experience is becoming part of my perspective on learning, adaptability, and belonging.
My established work in leadership and human development remains central. I’m continuing to explore what this experience adds to it, and I share parts of that exploration on Instagram.
